NEW SHIPPING DOCUMENT POLICY 

Shipping carriers have recently changed their policies. Costa Rica NOW requires a legal Identification document to go along with all the other information needed to get your products delivered to you. Your ID is required for receiving your delivery from the shipping carrier. We will not put your ID number on the package, we respect your privacy, it is only used for when you pick up or receive your order to confirm that it is you. 

You will receive an email to reply to with your identification information.

If your order is over 2 kg a higher shipping rate may apply. For all orders over 6 kg, we will email you with a shipping quote before sending your order. The weights listed on our products are of the contents; therefore, please remember that the weight will slightly increase with the packaging.

[ An average shipping order that is 2 kilograms would be 10 soaps,  1 coffee scrub, 1 large healing salve, 1 lip butter and 1 perfume. ]

Returns & Exchanges

We hope that you are completely satisfied with your Alegria’s purchase, but if for some reason you are not satisfied and would like to return or exchange any product(s), please refer to the following policy:

If for some reason you are not satisfied with anything you purchased from our online store, you may return it to us within thirty (30) days of the receipt date for an exchange or refund. We do not refund shipping charges, and you are responsible for paying the cost of shipping the product(s) back to us (including the cost of insurance, if you choose to insure the package). After thirty (30) days, we will not accept returns or exchanges for any reason other than for manufacturer defect.

Please include a note in your package indicating your original order number, your reason(s) for returning the product(s), and whether you want an exchange or refund.

We do not take returns in cases where a customer’s scent preference is involved or allergic reactions have taken place. We trust our customers will know their bodies and any sensitivities and avoid purchasing items that may cause problems. Just ask for a sample of any ONE type of soap and we will gladly send you a small slice to try it out!

Backorders

We rarely run out of stock, but if we do, we will place your missing items on backorder and ship them as soon as they become available.
